Mr LU Number One Chinese in Moyock

I love their take out, always quick & friendly service, food tastes better than the surrounding Chinese cuisine.

Well that was the most disappointing $18 I have ever spent on a meal. Seven Stars around the Moon is not worth it. Shrimp heavily over battered and no flavor. Lo Mein addition mediocre. Got a to go order and no napkins, no fork, no sauce included in the bag. Should have checked before I left, so mea culpa on that one. Go next door to the Food Lion and buy stuff out of the freezer, you’ll be better off.

Great food, great service, and great people i love this place and super happy its only 2 minutes from my house.

If you dine in you will receive a very healthy portion. So if you go away hungry it is your own fault

The service is horrible. I ordered general tsoa chicken. I asked if this is made spicey. I told him that I didn't want it sweet. When I got my order I it was very sweet. I thought maybe he misunderstood me. I informed him of the mistake. He said I can give you some hot oil to put on it. Then he pointed to one pepper fake and said see the spice... Are you serious. He looked at me and said what do you want me to do? Nothing I said. At this point I wouldn't trust you with my food. You see he was eating a sandwich from next door and was in a hurry to get back to it and his phone call. Can't recommend this place to anyone.

Decent fast food.

Average Chinese place. Menu has everything you would expect. Place always seems a little dirty although service is generally quick. I feel like it has gone down in quality the last couple of years.

Always fast, always friendly... is it gourmet? Well no, of course not. But that's like rating a pizza chain down because it isn't original recipe. Better than most Chinese take out options... especially because its local and close!

I'm a professional chef who happens to travel all across the USA, and let me tell You this many people giving more than 3 stars to this place, is because they do NOT know anything about food.

Used to be fantastic... not anymore sadly.

Overall, I rate the restaurant 5 out of 5. I highly recommend it, you won't have any regrets.The customer service is amazing, the employees there have such great manners and patience. The food is cheap, made quickly, and is delicious. The restaurant is always clean and free of dirt and insects. The area is perfect for any occasion! You should see it for yourself!

Very angry lady works here! Service without a smile to everyone who entered. The food was served so hot onto Styrofoam plates it burned a hole all the way through. We didn't complain as angry lady was too scary.

I get take out almost 3 times a month. Always very fast and the taste is great. Love this place. Quick meal if your not up to making your own dinner.

They are on top of the social distance between themselves and the customer...but even before all this,their food has always been so good and hot even when I get home about 20 minutes later... unreal.

Even though it was fast, the quality was terrible. My husband and i ordered orange chicken and small beef lo mein no veg last night. The orange chicken wasnt cooked and the sauce was watery. My husband's lo mein came in like a "lunch bowl" instead of an actually box. And it was filled with veg. Usually, we never have a problem with them. But i don't want to experience this again. They are 1.2 miles away. I don't really want to go out to the next nearest one which is 8.3 miles. I won't be ordering takeout from here anymore til I hear the service has improved.

Why is literally EVERYTHING I order from here flavorless and runny? Like they just take the meal, throw it in a colander, then poor water on my food? I’ve tried, beef and broccoli, sesame chicken, genera tsos, beef lomein. Everything is bad. Probably one of the worst Chinese places I’ve ever been to and I think I’m done with it.

Food was good.

Ordered the beef and broccoli. It smelt horrible when I got home and the beef was flavorless and slimy. I also tried the sweet and sour chicken, and was left with extremely dry chicken. The white rice was fine. The fried rice was literally just rice that was fried, nothing else was in it.

My father in law brings me home food from here once a week, always SOO delicious!
